The fact that I am currently unemployed probably makes people think I am ridiculous having sunday blues in a standard fashion. But I think I figured out why I feel as bad as people who have to go to work. Actually, my sunday blues are because of the fact that there's another week waiting at the front door full of moments to feel useless, to send unanswered application letters. In the weekend everybody's useless. Or at least allowed to be so. I can dance and drink too. And when I do, I seem to perfectly blend in with the employed. When I do have work, I have sunday blues because I have to go to work. So actually, anyone who thinks I'm ridiculous is more than right to think so. But I know there's no way I should feel happy about not having a job. That way there isn't a possibility for me to be happy at this moment. Even though I know I should enjoy my free time, there's no way having free time is fun when you're the only one.

Happy days
Right, this lady is back in the game. The sun is shining, my work is done, I'm happy for the rest of the day, and mostly because... It's Friday!
I'm one of the billion who get hyper as soon as the weekends show around the corner. Most of all when you wake up, thinking it's Thursday and when all of sudden you realise it's actually Friday. Or you remember you still have to post letters, get in your car, hopelessly searching for that one late shift mailbox, and noticing you're still 5 minutes in time. What a treat!
Regarding my love life, it still is the very same as my other post. But I don't feel like worrying today. I know it's a waste of time anyway of I would, knowing I'm the only one out of two getting troubled over it. Instead I should be going out, dressing up, forgetting the shit of the past and just deal with it you know.
...And I did. What a weekend! Didn't even get to finish this post on Friday, because it was too darn awesome! Happy days indeed...

The shopping mall rabbit
We all know shopping malls are highly dangerous. The only intention they have is to suck you up and your wallet empty. And the guilt. Don't even get me started on that one.
But if you imagine to be a warrior with clearly only one mission, there may be a chance you survive without buying any extra (useless) shit.
I hope it's clear by now that I seem to have a short temper when it comes to shopping. I need what I want. Straight away, without any distraction or huge pictures on the shopping mall walls of men and women who look like they can't support the weight of their own head (I totally ripped that sentence from Dylan Moran). I am such an Alice when I enter a shopping mall - before I know it there is a crazy rabbit demanding me to follow him, to buy shit I didn't need in the first place but which - let's face it - could be useful for whatever I need to do in the near future. On my way down the rabbit hole I will sure pass a beauty store, craft store, magazine store and a place to eat.
But today, I chose to be a warrior instead of an Alice. I went straightly for the lingerie store and only bought what I needed. And then I got home to be proud of myself about how fast and how well I handled that situation... Only to discover I accidentally bought 2 thongs instead of undies.

When things get messy...
You know those days you're going berserk and you feel you could cry at the same time? Daily base for me now. All thanks to my D.O.A love life. I know, it sounds familiar, right!
Why is it men have to be so vague about themselves, when us women are so straightforward about how we feel, what we want, what our expectations are with a guy?
Personally, I feel like my head will explode one of these days, thanks to all the worries, doubts and issues inside my head. Well ladies, I can tell you we're not to blame.. at all! The only thing we could be ashamed of is the useless drama we put into it. Because really, looking back.. Was it really worth it? Sure there must be one special bloke you fancy or don't want to put through this goddamn misery. But seriously, it's hateful when you're not trying to, yet he is tearing down a what could have been wonderful relationship.
All I can say for now, is, don't worry ladies.. What comes around, goes around. And if our luck isn't helping out immediately to restall our confidence, you can always count on yourself. Go out, have a great day. Go shopping! What works for me these days, is after I finished work on my computer, I get settled in my couch with a comfy blanket, and watch my recorded episodes of Geordie Shore. And I go shopping too, of course. Duh.

Unfinished business
I have never seen Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars or The Matrix. Murder! Fire! Shoot me now. I don't understand why people get offended by the fact, although I am kind of ashamed to never have seen them. But in our age I'm sure there's a kazilion other movies I should have seen by now. Plus, I tried to watch LOTR and then I just fell asleep. And it makes me mad people think I am an awful person because of that, because I am usually the first to watch movies with a special visual language, lightning or any kind of cinematic effects. So I kind of don't understand myself there. Then again, when I ask people 'Have you seen Steve+Sky?' 90% of them says no when I think that's a really awesome movie too. But I don't go bitching around to people who haven't seen it. Cause I'm a good girl. Seeing I check Facebook everyday, it's also weird that I only saw the Felix Baumgartner happening like 5 months after it was actual news. But hey, not having seen something (on Facebook) gives people something else than gossip to talk about in real life, remember?
